The Bridgehampton Association is a non-profit group of volunteers dedicated to supporting smaller, local charities in and around Bridgehampton.
Founded in 1984, we have provided grants for more than $1 million over the years.
Our year-round fundraiser is a used book store, called The Book Bay on the lower level of the Bridgehampton Community House. We hold 2 other events - a Golf Tournament at The Bridgehampton Club typically, in June, and a Holiday Fair in December, at the St. Ann's Parish House, on Main Street.
The Book Bay
Our Used Bookstore
The Book Bay's name comes from the garage bay we share with the BHFD. Check out the antique trucks in the bay on the left when you visit!
The Book Bay - one of the largest used book stores on the East End - is staffed entirely by our volunteers and stocked with quality donations from our community. Selections includes bestsellers, 1st editions, Fiction, Non-Fiction, History, Sports, Cookbooks, Poetry, Gardening, Coffee Table and more!
The Golf Tournament
This year, the Bridgehampton Association will hosts a fabulous "pandemically-modified" Golf Tournament at the prestigious Bridgehampton Club, October 7th (rain-date - 10/8) Greens fees include 9 holes, snacks/drinks, and prizes for Longest Drive, Closest to the Pin, and scores. There will be a 50/50 raffle. Local businesses also sponsor tees. The Bridgehampton Club generously donates the course for the day, along with Tee Sponsors, and Raffle Sales make for a great community fundraiser. Contact us if you want to be a part of this in any way!
The Holiday Fair
Every year, on the first Saturday in December, the Association hosts an amazing Holiday Fair. We sell greens and holiday plants, Jewelry, Baked Goods, Attic Treasures, Crafts, and our unique, hand-crafted Ornament. Books and another great raffle ensure you will find a treat for everyone on your list.
This is one of the local themes chosen for the Annual Ornament. Just to give you an idea of how detailed it is, it measures approximately 3"x4"! Check out our display of past years' ornaments inside The Book Bay.
